AN AREA RICH IN EQUESTRIAN HISTORY

The equestrian lifestyle in Paso Robles can be traced back to 1797, where the Franciscans at Mission San Miguel Archangel lent their hand to both the raising of horses and to the start of what would become one of the world's most important wine-growing regions.  Following in that tradition, Windfall Farms currently has the ability to handle all equine services, including broodmare care, breeding, foaling, lay-ups, sales prep, breaking, boarding and training. Included are stallion, foaling, yearling, and training facilities, a 6 furlong racetrack, 5 stall Eurociser, 70 pasture and paddock areas, 17 run-in sheds, covered exercise rings, round pens and a veterinary clinic.

The 15,000 sq. ft. training barn includes a loft and large observatory next to a racetrack modeled after Southern California’s historic Santa Anita racetrack. Viewpoints offer stunning vistas in all directions.
